STORY

In my twenties, I got lost. A lot. Often. Sometimes for long periods. I often felt like I was (excuse my French) between two chairs: what was expected of me, what social media said. The missing chair? What I wanted. If anything were possible. If no one had a say.

First challenge? Listening to myself. No, sorry. Hearing myself. Hearing my intuition (that little voice that sometimes screams "danger, danger" at me). Second challenge: the external noise, the volume of this voice was set by default to 10%. The third challenge: my internal dialogue wasn't on the most empowering frequency.
These parameters led me to a few errors in judgment, and to taking some paths that turned out to be rather (pardon my French)... messed up.

The worst thing isn't getting lost. The worst thing is knowing all along that you're better than that, and not believing it.

That's why I created Unbothered. This English word is dear to me: it means "untouchable", "imperturbable". Everything rolls off me. Nothing gets to me.

These phrases, these are the phrases I would have loved to hear growing up. They are the ones written on post-it notes, displayed on my bathroom mirror.

There are several themes: self-confidence, self-esteem, feminism (or should I say, circumventing patriarchy), motivation, listening to one's intuition.

I always say that the phrases could have been a collaboration between Gandhi and Beyoncé. They are not spiritual phrases, but rather sassy and empowering. Always, however, with references to the universe and our higher self (our best version).

I created this project with all my heart, with the sole hope that these phrases resonate and, above all, help you anchor yourself in your power.

So I hope you like the cards.

With attitude and gratitude,
Anaelle xx
